Improving Your Health Through the Best Medicine of All
Nutrition and its link to health, has been a life-long interest of mine. I resonate with what William Shakespeare said once that “Our bodies are our gardens, to which our wills are our gardeners”. Nutrition is a key part in achieving a healthy and creative life. I believe that prevention, through optimal nutrition and a healthy lifestyle, is the best medicine of all for all aspects of our well-being, including the physical, economic, social, emotional and psychological.
I was born on the north coast of Spain where I was brought up eating and cooking a Mediterranean diet. Colour is extremely important in all areas of my life, especially in food! My interest in nutrition started in my early 20s when I experienced the impact of good nutrition on my own health. That interest gradually increased when I became pregnant with my first child. Having four children has taught me the importance of embracing a well-balanced lifestyle to ensure life is lived in the best and most enjoyable way.
