Regaining your Health with the Best Medicine of All
Nutrition and its link to health has been a life-long interest of mine. I strongly resonate with the quote “Our bodies are our gardens, to which our wills are our gardeners” by William Shakespeare. Nutrition is a key part in achieving a healthy and creative life. I strongly believe that prevention, through optimal nutrition and a healthy lifestyle, is the best medicine of all.
I grew up in the North of Spain, in a big family. When I was 16 years old, my father developed breast cancer. A decade later, another four members of my family developed other types of cancer. This has had a huge impact on me and has pushed me to find ways to minimize chronic diseases, such as cancer. When I finished my degree in Nutritional Medicine, I decided to specialize in cancer and learned to work and support as many people as possible. It is now widely recognized that Nutritional Therapy is a valuable tool in cancer prevention and in supporting cancer patients, during and after their treatment. I strongly believe that any conventional cancer protocol should be supported with a nutritional therapy Plan.
I use DNA testing in my practice to help me design specific and unique plans for my clients. These tests can highlight where specific metabolic pathways require extra support with certain nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. They give an indication of the degree of susceptibility to the harmful effects of exposure to carcinogens, from the environment and ingested in the diet.
My mission is to support breast cancer patients in regaining their health and to take control of their lives.
